My Journey

I am an artist, art educator, children's book writer and content creator. Now retired from the "brick & mortar" teaching life, I now develop quality content for art and cognition educators and share these resources online. My Teachers Pay Teachers store is Cognitively Art Ed. Follow my blog to find out news about what's new on Cognitively Art Ed, art shows, book presentations and conferences. Thank you!

More of the story...

I believe that art and education should be engaging, accessible, and deeply rewarding.  After years of writing art education articles and fine art columns, I pursued a “bucket list” dream—co-authoring a children’s book. Kids’ Search for Meaning introduces young readers to Viktor Frankl, his experiences in the concentration camps, and the empowering philosophy of Logotherapy: the idea that meaning can be found even in life’s most difficult moments.

Inspiration is everywhere. Sharing it is my calling.

As a content creator on Teachers Pay Teachers, I craft original resources that blend practical wisdom with joyful learning. These materials reflect the heart of my teaching philosophy: that art and education should be engaging, accessible, and deeply rewarding.
